Why Recharge doesn't work in India

Recharge charges renewals only through Shopify's subscription processors: Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal Express, Authorize.net and Adyen. Shopify Payments isn't available in India, Stripe is invite-only for Indian businesses, and PayPal India can't take domestic payments. A brand selling in India can't run Recharge subscriptions.

AutoPay on UPI and cards

How StackBack works in India

AutoPay on UPI and cards. The customer buys on StackBack's subscription checkout through your Razorpay account, paying for the first delivery and setting up AutoPay in one step. Every renewal after that is charged automatically, with a notice before each charge.

Prepaid and pay-as-you-go. These plans go into the cart like any product and check out on your Shopify checkout or any quick checkout, with your connected gateway.

Shopify-native. Every order and renewal lands in Shopify as a normal order, so inventory, shipping and reports keep working.
