StackBack is the subscription & repeat-revenue platform for Indian D2C brands on Shopify. Brands offer prepaid, pay-as-you-go and AutoPay on UPI and cards side by side. AutoPay is charged through the brand's own Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU or PhonePe account, so the money settles with the brand. Prepaid and pay-as-you-go plans go into the cart like any product, on Shopify checkout or a quick checkout. Loop runs inside Shopify checkout and supports "only those payment processors that are approved by Shopify for subscription billing". It has a branded customer portal and build-your-own bundles. Prepaid subscriptions come on the Pro plan and above.

6. Seal Subscriptions
Built for: stores on Shopify's subscription gateways.
Seal charges renewals automatically only on Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal Express and a few similar gateways. For brands selling in India, it falls back to recurring invoices and emails customers a checkout link each cycle. It sells classic and prepaid subscriptions, has a passwordless customer portal and has no native bundles.

Recharge has run subscriptions on Shopify since 2014. It processes renewals through Shopify's eligible subscription processors: Shopify Payments, Stripe (limited), PayPal Express, Authorize.net and Adyen. It offers prepaid subscriptions, customisable bundles and a no-code customer portal.

Shopify's own app is free and lets customers manage subscriptions from their Shopify customer account. It needs Shopify Payments, PayPal Express, Authorize.net, Adyen or Stripe, and Shopify says bundles aren't compatible with it.
